Bridal Shower Wine Steamed Turkey Tenderloin


Shopping List:
2 packages Turkey Tenderloins (We like Jenni-O brand)
2 - 2.65oz tins of McCormick's Gourmet Collection Mediterranean Spiced Sea Salt with Garlic, Basil & Oregano
2 Shallots
4 tbl Olive oil
1.5 liter bottle of inexpensive white wine.  (Look in the wine section under economy wines.  Any white will do)
Roasting Pan with a rack
Tin Foil


Chop your shallots.  Rinse off your turkey tenderloins and pat dry with a paper towel.  Sprinkle the Mediterranean mix over both sides of the tenderloins.  In a frying pan, heat olive oil.  Toss in your shallots, after about a minute, toss in the tenderloins.  Brown on both sides -- maybe 2 to 3 minutes a side.  Turn off heat.
In your roasting pan, pour in the wine until it is a about 1/2 inch from the rack.  Place your tenderloins on the rack, and sprinkle again with the Mediterranean mix.  Cover the pan with tin foil so no air can escape.  Roast in the oven for 45 to 50 minutes -- or until the turkey is no longer pink inside when cut with a knife.  Slice tenderloins on a diagonal, and serve on a platter.
