Backyard BBQ

Since a backyard BBQ is a pretty informal event, we recommend that you email your invitations. This will allow you to cut down on your prep time, as well as easily manage your RSVP's. We love this site as it allows guests to download the event info right into their calendars, as well as sends out reminder emails without you ever prompting it!

If you don't want to go to the lengths of creating an virtual invite, feel free to send out a nicely worded email inviting people to your dinner party. Many email programs also offer "stationery" or a "background" so you can customize the look of the email to suit the mood you want to set for your dinner party.

Rarely would we send printed invitations for a BBQ unless we were throwing the party for a really special event - such as a shower, or an anniversary party.

We are also working on our own designs for invitations and will soon have a few of our own offerings up for you to choose from.

And remember, it's never too much work to host a Simple Feast in your backyard.
